Nigel Hobbins

Nigel Hobbins is an East Kent musician, based mostly in Whitstable, who mainly plays his own songs with a handful of traditional numbers. His songs are steeped in local history, its people, and landscape – from childhood memories at the seaside and warm sunny days to witty observations of day-to-day life that champion the common man.

 

Nigel sings accompanied by a guitar or mandolin. To date, he has released six albums as a part of the band Nigel Hobbins and The Dreamlanders, the material of which makes up his repertoire. Lightly amplified or acoustic, his warm and engaging performances are equally at home at Pub, Festival, or Folk Club.
